Being just on the edge of the Galloway Dark Sky Park, Queensland Holiday Park provides a great place to view the night sky in total comfort, relaxing in one of our glamping pod hot tubs. What could be better than enjoying the warm water of the hot tub with a glass of wine and viewing the galaxy above? The skies all over south west Scotland are some of the darkest skies in Europe because the area of Galloway and Carrick in South Ayrshire is so sparsley populated that there is virtually no light pollution to spoil your view of the stars. 

Campers can stay for three consecutive nights, for a fee of £10 per night to be paid via the cashless parking system. This fee includes access to waste disposal facilities. Girvan site also has access to toilet and washroom facilities during opening hours(charges apply).
